If you like pizza (who doesn’t) then you are going to love this dip. The great thing about this dip is that you get to customize it to your liking. You can add Canadian bacon and pineapple or pepperoni and onions. If you feel so inclinded you can even add anchovies. Pair this dip with these breadsticks, crackers, or pretzels and you will be the talk of the party (in a good way).
Hot Pizza Dip
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1 14 oz. jar of your favorite pizza sauce
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
your favorite pizza toppings
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, basil, garlic cloves, oregano, and rosemary in a medium sized bowl.
2. Spread the cream cheese mixture into a pie pan. Spread the pizza sauce over the cream cheese mixture.
3. Layer your favorite pizza toppings. Place the dip in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until it starts to bubble.
4. Top the dip with the mozzarella cheese and place it back into the oven until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately with crackers, pretzels, or these breadsticks.
